Sonder is designed for people aged 13+, including young people. Safety was a first design requirement. Every sensitive feature should pass: "Would I be comfortable with someone I care about using this?"
Sonder is committed to promoting welfare and reducing harm. We take UK expectations for online services seriously (including age-appropriate design principles). We are not a statutory safeguarding authority.
Future versions may add optional trusted-adult contacts or school/org features; those will be described here when shipped.
Sonder uses automated checks to detect language that may indicate self-harm, abuse, severe distress, or other serious risk. When triggered, the product may:
